Divided Stream

Everyday lovers from each other depart

It’s the sad tale of several human hearts.

It isn’t easy to say goodbye

When you know something inside you may die.

There comes a time when you feel like crying

But the frozen tears refuse to fall.

You keep staring at the empty space

And try to talk with them in your thoughts,

But what’s done is done.

Now you must give your life an happy ending.

But its not easy to forget your past

And keep from remembering all those broken hearts.

People, faces, all but come and go…

Some stay for a while, some a little longer

Some come and stay and change you forever.

Your life you see is scattered everywhere

From amongst them you pick your happy days

With some one and hold them forever sway.

Life moves on like a peaceful stream

And passes gently by.

Then comes a time when the stream in different path must divide.

Uncountable pebbles of memories you leave behind

While some segments of fragmented love follows you side by side.

Our Streams shall eventually merge

But for the time being you and me are apart.

Keep flowing and we shall be together

With every rhythm of our heart!!!!
